"(ΠΑΝ)ΜΕΤΡΟΝ ΑΡΙΣΤΟΝ "Kleovoulos o lydios

Everything in moderation, is an ancient motto which implies that we should do everything in medium intensity so as to get the best out of everything .Of course this is a well known idea ,easily accepted in theory, since we all know ,for example, that eating too much is bad for our health and our figure ,working too hard and too much is wrong for our heart and our relationships e.t.c. Yet,the conditions of life and psychological distress can make us overcome our natural limits and resort to exaggeration which will lead us to further distress and worsening of our lifes,an, unfortunately, common vicious cycle of our society.
Eventhough I strongly believe that love ,faith and good daily planning can pull one out of such a  trap he has fallen ,this post will address a specific aspect of this theory.
As a matter of fact, apart from the known matter that exaggeration and moderation are different for every person and for every item as well, I want you to keep in mind that we can overpass our strength out of enthusiasm to lose weight, tone our body  or to ameliorate a kinetic deficit. Also, sometimes ,though we act within our natural limits ,our organism may produce an unwanted reaction, out of an unknown old or new health problem , of a subconscious stress ,of a sorrow we are fighting.
Or else we might be overcoming our limits for just a tiny unconceivable bit each time that gives an important  bad effect after prolonged continuation.
Last but not least, there are innocent habbits we all have that cause health  problems, for example a wallet  in the back pocket of pants that can press the sciatic nerve chronically and injure it,or sleeping on our side with our ipsilateral  arm above 90 degrees on the horizontal level with shoulder pain as a result.
All I want to say is that we can easily prevent little injuries that can chronically turn to burdens and aches just by consciously getting out of the autopilote our every day occupations and routines put us in and take heed of the waning signals our bodies are sending us ,e. g. pain ,for our own good.
I am not urging you to panic with every little discomfort you feel, just to stop ignoring it.Understand that your body is your most valuable asset, slow down and watch if every little move you make or action you take are compatible with your well being ,change what is not and go on.Life is a matter of trial and error in order to reach success.
